Roots flowmeter (also known as Roots flowmeter, gas Roots flowmeter) is a volumetric flow measurement instrument, mainly used for accurate measurement of gas or liquid. Its core component is a pair of intermeshing "8"-shaped Roots rotors (Roots rotors), which rotate under the push of the fluid, and the flow rate is measured by counting the number of rotations.
Working principle:
The fluid enters the flowmeter and drives the Roots rotor to rotate.
Each rotation discharges a fixed volume of fluid (related to the cavity volume).
By detecting the number of rotations of the rotor, the cumulative flow and instantaneous flow are calculated.
