Introduction to the CYW-152B & CYW-153B Stainless Steel Differential Pressure Gauges
The CYW-152B and CYW-153B Stainless Steel Differential Pressure Gauges are precision instruments engineered for demanding industrial applications. They are ideally suited for measuring differential pressure and flow rate of various liquid and gaseous media in critical sectors such as chemical processing, chemical fiber production, metallurgy, electric power generation, and nuclear power plants. Built entirely from stainless steel, these gauges offer exceptional durability and long-term reliability in harsh operating environments.
Robust Construction and Superior Materials
A key feature of these gauges is their all-stainless-steel construction. The core measuring system, which includes the dual bellows and connecting components, as well as the entire pressure guiding system (comprising joints and conduits), is manufactured from special austenitic stainless steel. This selected material provides superior resistance to corrosion and degradation caused by aggressive media and challenging environmental conditions. The design is compact, lightweight, and features a modern aesthetic. To accommodate diverse installation requirements, the gauges are available with two connection styles: parallel (for direct mounting with a three-valve manifold) and angled.
Advanced Working Principle for Accurate Measurement
At the heart of the CYW-152B and CYW-153B gauges lies a sophisticated dual-bellows mechanism. The two bellows, which possess identical stiffness, are mounted symmetrically on either side of an "I"-shaped bracket. This bracket has a fixed end and a movable end, connected by a spring leaf. The bellows are arranged in parallel and connected via capillaries to the high and low-pressure ports on the gauge case. A gear transmission mechanism is mounted on the fixed end and linked to the movable end via a lever.
The principle of operation is both elegant and effective. When both bellows are subjected to the same pressure, they exert equal concentrated forces on the bracket. Under this balanced force, the spring leaf experiences no deflection, keeping the bracket and pointer at the zero position. However, when a differential pressure is applied (typically with higher pressure on the high-pressure side), an imbalance of forces occurs. This causes the movable end of the bracket to displace, actuating the gear transmission mechanism. This movement is amplified and translated into a clear, precise reading on the dial, indicating the exact differential pressure value.
